On the 6th session day of our Second Regular, Floor Leader Olap introduced the House Bill No. 17-17, Supplemental Budget for the FY24 Budget Law (Budget for the State) which includes the Proposed Budget Salary Adjustment for Government employees in our State of Chuuk.
When introduced, Speaker Mersai assigned the HB No. 17-17 to the committee on Ways & Means to work on the Proposed Supplemental Budget. Furthermore, Speaker Mersai then ordered the bill to be placed on the agenda under Bill Calendar for First Reading and was passed by the majority of the members present.
